In Person Counselling 

Counselling in person allows for both client and therapist to immerse themselves fully in the therapeutic space.  

The therapy space is well-equipped with games, figures, puppets, sand tray, arts, crafts and sensory toys and equipment to enable a full, playful therapy experience for your child. 

This remains a favoured and cherished space for many clients as they learn to navigate the space and get to know the items available to interact with.   Being able to move freely about the space is so valuable to the sessions and is the reason I will always recommend in person sessions wherever these can be arranged. 

For clients aged 10 and under, I ask that all sessions are held in person.

Location

In person sessions are currently held in space at Woolpit Clinics, Brickfields Business Park, Bury St Edmunds, IP30 9QS

There is free parking outside of the building, and a waiting area in the centre, where parents/carers are welcome to wait during the appointment. 

If you do leave the premises during the session, please ensure your contact phone number is available in the unlikely event we may need to contact you during the session.

Online Counselling

In recent years online counselling sessions have become increasingly popular as a convenient and comfortable way for people to attend counselling and psychotherapy.

Online sessions can also be preferable for young people with anxiety, or emotional based school avoidance, enabling them to engage in therapy from a familiar environment.

I offer online sessions for teens, (aged from 11years upwards). 

How Online sessions work

Clients will require a confidential space during sessions.

Sessions are offered via zoom, so a computer/laptop is preferable.

I continue to use creative practice in these sessions; I am beginning to incorporate Minecraft into my online practice as a valuable sand box tool that can engage clients and give them an entire world to explore from their screen.
